News New Musical No More Waiting Begins June 1 at the Duplex Emmy Award winner Daniel Neiden directs No More Waiting, a new musical by David Christian Azarow and Chris Widney that begins performances June 1 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The cast includes Shane Bland, who appeared on Broadway in the original cast of Bombay Dreams, as well as Lisa Clayton, Lianne Marie Dobbs, Kevin Duda and Follies' Larry Raiken. Margherita I. Ryan choreographed the production, which features musical direction by Charles Czarnecki. No More Waiting, according to production notes, "explores the lives of experienced musical theatre performers-turned-waiters at a tawdry cabaret. Fed up with endless nights waiting for their next break, they seize an empty stage. With nothing more than props from their backpacks and accompaniment from a classically trained concert pianist 'masquerading' as a busboy, they create a world of suppressed inner desires, romance and adventure, in three short one-acts."

The musical will be presented June 1 at 9:30 PM, June 3 at 7 PM, June 8 at 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM and June 10 at 7 PM.

Tickets for No More Waiting are priced at $15 (there is also a two drink minimum) and are available by calling (212) 255-5438. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. Visit www.theduplex.com for more information.
