Using historical court records, Ye Bear & Ye Cubb reimagines the first-known English-language play in North America and the legal battle it sparked.

Broadway's Ryan Emmons (Kimberly AkimboGroundhog Day) will direct the production, which will feature scenic design by Seth Byrum, costume design by Julie Congress and Kathy Cote, lighting design by Ryan Hauenstein, movement direction by Victoria Rae Sook, and props and puppet design by Jen Neads. Enrico de Trizio will serve as sound and music supervisor and Steve Goodwin serves as composer. Miranda Sage Rhode will be production stage manager, with Ryan Buchanan as assistant director and Haylee van Dalen as social media manager.

Three seats will be available to audience members onstage to be immersed in the production—the "Tavern Seat" includes a drink and a craft project.
