The series kicks off Oct. 30 (and Nov. 6) at 8 PM with Caryl Churchill's Top Girls. The cast for the reading includes Tony Award winner Patricia Elliott, Pamela Payton-Wright, Pippa Pearthree, Lola Pashalinski and Sue Brady. Top Girls, according to press notes, is set in the eighties in "Maggie Thatcher's England and Marlene finally has something to celebrate — she's just been made managing director of Top Girls Employment Agency. But with no friends to speak of, and a past she'd just as soon forget, the guests at Marlene's party are a collection of famous women from history. Soon, Marlene discovers that life above the glass ceiling is not all it's cracked up to be." George Furth's Twigs follows on Nov. 13 and 20 at 8 PM with a cast featuring Anne Pitoniak, Cynthia Darlow, Sarah Baker, Sue Brady, John FitzGibbon, Matte Osian, Joel Leffert and Kenneth Boys. Set the day before Thanksgiving, Twigs concerns "three sisters and their mother [who] are making their various preparations. Through their established rituals and chance encounters, the audience gets a peek into how four women hewn from the same wood have been shaped by the forces in their varying surroundings."

The series concludes Nov. 27 and Dec. 11 at 8 PM with Eileen Atkins' Vita and Virginia. Obie Award winner Kathleen Chalfant will join Patricia Elliott for the play, which chronicles "the remarkable friendship and intimate love affair between [Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West], two of the most celebrated members of the famous Bloomsbury Group in 1920s London."

Tickets, priced $25 each or $55 for the three-play package, are available by calling (212) 239-6200 or by visiting www.telecharge.com. For more information visit www.nofrillsco.org.
