Classic Arts News New Rippingtons Album Debuts at No. 1 on Contemporary Jazz Chart Wild Card, the new album from the pop-jazz super group the Rippingtons, debuted at number one on the Billboard contemporary-jazz chart this week.
The album displaced Kenny G's At Last...The Duets Album, which has spent 22 weeks at number one since its release in November 2004.

Also new to the contemporary-jazz chart was singer and guitarist Jonathan Butler's Jonathan, which entered at number five,

Vocalist Michael Bubl_ maintained his grip on the top of the jazz chart: his It's Time has spent 14 of the 15 weeks since its release at number one. Just for a Thrill, a jazz offering from country singer and pianist Ronnie Milsap, debuted at number four.
