The gala includes a cocktail reception before the performance and supper afterward.

The company's winter season runs through February 26 at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center, and includes five weeks of performances of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker.

The winter season also includes world premieres by resident choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and ballet-master-in-chief Peter Martins; Martins' ballet is set to a score by Christopher Rouse. The company also presents Martins' full length Swan Lake, as well as programs drawn from a repertory featuring 16 works by Balanchine and seven works by Robbins, in addition to other works by Martins, Wheeldon, Sean Lavery, and Richard Tanner.
