Noses Off is a clowning re-telling of the life of Frank "Silvers" Oakley. Considered the greatest American circus clown of the early 20th century, Oakley lost his job with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey's when 25 inexperienced buffoons were brought in to replace his highly-trained solo act, altering the U.S. concept of circus clowning forever.

The Goofs, led by former director of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Clown College Dick Monday, have created, in the last five years, the revues "Serious Comedy" and "The Goof Family Christmas Special." Their "Goofballs" enjoyed a successful run at the Flea in the summer of 1999.

Tickets are $12 and are available by calling (212) 226-0051. The Flea Theater is located at 41 White Street.
