News New York Stage and Film to Honor Laura Linney and Jordan Roth Emmy Award-winning and Tony and Oscar-nominated actress Laura Linney and Jujamcyn Theaters president Jordan Roth will be honored by New York Stage and Film at the company's Annual Winter Gala, which will be held Dec. 12 at the Plaza Hotel.

This year's honorary gala chairs will include Billie Joe Armstrong, Harvey Fierstein, John Benjamin Hickey and Michael Mayer. All proceeds will benefit New York Stage and Film, which develops original film and theatre works. Linney is currently appearing on Broadway in Time Stands Still, for which she was Tony-nominated. She holds additional Tony nominations for Sight Unseen and The Crucible. She received Emmy Awards for "John Adams," "Frasier" and "Wild Iris" and Oscar nods for "The Savages," "Kinsey" and "You Can Count on Me."

As president of Jujamcyn Theatres, Roth's productions include Jersey Boys, Spring Awakening, American Idiot, Fela!, Hair and A Little Night Music. Previous credits as an independent producer include The Rocky Horror Show and The Donkey Show. Roth hosts the Broadway Talks series at the 92nd Street Y.
