Classic Arts News New York Times Critic John Rockwell to Appear Tonight at Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble John Rockwell, a longtime arts critic at The New York Times who has covered classical music, rock, European culture and dance, will be speaking tonight at 7 pm at the Lincoln Triangle branch of Barnes & Noble, at Broadway and West 66th St. in Manhattan. The event is free and open to the public.
The veteran journalist — who retired from the Times as of January 1 — will also sign copies of his new book, Outsider: John Rockwell in the Arts, 1967-2006, a compilation of highlights from his four decades of writing.
