Tony-winning actress-singer Phyllis Newman and her daughter, Amanda Green, will premiere a new concert, Bernstein, Comden and Green: A Musical Celebration, July 3.

The evening, which will be held at The Venetian Theatre in Katonah, NY, will feature Newman and Green as co-hosts with songs interpreted by Sylvia McNair, Judy Kaye, Jason Graae and Hugh Russell. Musical director Michael Barrett will conduct the Orchestra of St. Luke's; show time is 8 PM.

Phyllis Newman made her Broadway debut in 1952 in the original musical comedy Wish You Were Here. She received a Tony Award for her performance in Subways Are for Sleeping and a Tony nomination for her work in Neil Simon's Broadway Bound. Her other Broadway credits include Bells Are Ringing, First Impressions, Moonbirds, The Apple Tree, On the Town, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, The Madwoman of Central Park West and Awake and Sing! She married Adolph Green in 1960 with whom she had two children, Amanda and Adam. Newman is the founder of the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, part of the Actors' Fund of America.

Amanda Green is the daughter of Phyllis Newman and the late lyricist/book writer Adolph Green. Her musical with Curtis Moore, Up the Week Without a Paddle, received a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award nomination for Best Score as well as a Garland Award for Best Score. Green is the winner of two MAC Awards, a Backstage Magazine Bistro Award and the Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting from The Songwriter's Hall of Fame. She has performed on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and the Manhattan Theatre Club. Green is also a contributor of humorous articles to Playboy Magazine.

Writing partners Betty Comden and Adolph Green collaborated with composer Leonard Bernstein on the Broadway musicals On the Town and Wonderful Town. Green and Comden also worked together on Bells Are Ringing, On the 20th Century and the film "Singin' in the Rain." Bernstein's other Broadway credits include West Side Story and Candide.

Tickets for Bernstein, Comden and Green are priced $31-$81. The Venetian Theatre is located at 149 Girdle Ridge Road in Katonah, New York.
