Off-Broadway News NEWSical The Musical Celebrates Another Milestone Off-Broadway The long-running musical revue reached its 3000th performance January 26.

On January 26, NEWSical The Musical celebrated its 3000th performance. The long-running musical revue is an ever-evolving comedy inspired by the day's news.

To celebrate the milestone, NEWSical received a proclamation from Speaker of the City Council, Corey Johnson, as well as a proclamation from the New York State Assembly.

NEWSical The Musical is created by and written by Rick Crom (Urinetown), directed by Mark Waldrop and produced by Tom D’Angora.

The current company features Taylor Crousore (Forbidden Broadway), Susan Mosher (Hairspray), Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Chicago), and Michael West (When Pigs Fly). Both Pedi and West have been with the production since opening night.

Rounding out the creative team are Ed Goldschneider (music director), Jason Courson (set designer) and the current stage manager, Krystal Roccaro.
