News Next to Normal Co-Star Joins Alice Ripley for 54 Below Concert June 1 Celebrated singing actress Alice Ripley, who won her Tony Award for her performance as bipolar mom Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, returns to 54 Below June 1 with an all-new show.

Jess Means is the musical director for Alice Imagines; show time is 9:30 PM.

Broadway favorite Ripley is joined by one of her Next to Normal co-stars, Louis Hobson, who played Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in the Tony-winning production.

Attendees can expect to hear songs from Ripley's newest musical theatre project, The Songs of Harry Nilsson. Ripley is partnering with San Diego Repertory Theatre, and the revue, which will also feature Tony winner Greg Jbara, is promised a slot in its 2015 season. Tony winner Ripley has also appeared on Broadway in Side Show, The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce's The Dead, Sunset Boulevard and The Who's Tommy.
