London's Evening Standard reported Feb. 24 that yet another Hollywood face would grace the London stage this season. In addition to the Almeida's line up of Juliette Binoche, Liam Neeson and Kevin Spacey, the Donmar Warehouse has confirmed that Nicole Kidman will star in its production of La Ronde, adapted by David Hare from Arthur Schnitzler. La Ronde is scheduled to run either at the end of this year or the beginning of 1999. An exact date cannot be determined because of Kidman's film schedule. Kidman and husband Tom Cruise have spent the last year in London filming their latest movie, Eyes Wide Shut which, coincidentally, was based on the novel by Schnitzler. La Ronde will be directed by Donmar's Artistic Director Sam Mendes, who recently directed The Front Page and is currently in New York directing the Roundabout's site-specific production of Cabaret. The Front Page, which is currently playing at the Donmar, closes this Saturday, February 28. Last chance tickets to see the unfolding of the dark circumstances in one newspaper reporter's life, call the Donmar Warehouse at (0171) 369-1732.
