News Nicole Kidman Eyes West End Theatrical Return Nicole Kidman has revealed that she's eying a West End theatrical return for the first time since she appeared in Sam Mendes's production of The Blue Room at the Donmar Warehouse in 1998, which subsequently transferred to Broadway's Cort Theatre.

According to a report in the U.K's Daily Mail, she is in "complex negotiations" to appear in the West End, possibly in two plays being produced "one after the other." She told the paper, "I don't know how it's going to work yet, but yes, that's the idea. Two in a row."

One is reported to be a new staging of Turgenev's A Month in the Country in a new adaptation by Patrick Marber. Ian Rickson is on board to direct.

Kidman added, "Everything is being done to make the plays happen. There's commitment from me and everyone involved."
