News Nikka Graff Lanzarone and Mo Brady Release New "Ensemblist" Episode Spotlighting Broadway Stage Managers Mo Brady (The Addams Family, "Smash") and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) have released the 21st episode of "The Ensemblist" — a podcast featuring Broadway backstage stories — entitled "Spotlight On: Stage Managers."

"The Ensemblist," according to press notes, "is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer — from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you're an experienced theatre professional or just a passionate fan, 'The Ensemblist' gives listeners the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of Broadway."

The "Stage Managers" episode, part of the new mini-series "Spotlight On" — which highlights various behind-the-scenes Broadway careers that are rarely seen by fans — features stage managers Zac Chandler (West Side Story, The Addams Family, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Cinderella), Mary MacLeod (Deuce, A Little Night Music, Sister Act, Flash Dance, Motown, Smokey Joe's Cafe) and Cody Renard Richard (Lysistrata Jones, Ghost, Cyrano de Bergerac, Motown, After Midnight).

"From keeping the cast and crew organized, to hours of paperwork, teaching replacements, and communicating with the entire artistic team, the stage manager is always juggling numerous tasks," according to press notes. "In this episode, the three guests explain the complicated breakdown of duties on the stage management team and share thrilling and nail-biting moments from their own careers."
