Broadway veteran Nikki Renée Daniels will head to the Windy City in search of a mind at work, assuming the role of Angelica Schuyler in the Chicago company of Hamilton. She steps in for Montego Glover beginning April 2 at the CIBC Theatre.

Daniels, who took to Twitter to reveal the news with her two daughters, was last seen on Broadway as Nabulungi in The Book of Mormon; her additional credits include Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes, Les Misérables, Lestat, Nine, and Aida.

The current Chicago company of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning hit includes Miguel Cervantes as Alexander Hamilton, Akron Watson as Aaron Burr, Jamila Sabares-Klemm as Eliza Hamilton, Paris Nix as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Call as King George, Tamar Greene as George Washington, Jamaal Fields-Green as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, Candace Quarrels as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, and Ebrin R. Stanley as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison.
