PlayBlog "Nine" Movie Rehearsal Montage The producers of the forthcoming Rob Marshall-helmed "Nine" have released a montage of rehearsal footage spliced with scenes from the movie. The video is underscored here by an instrumental medley of "Folies Bergère" and "Be Italian." The film is based on the Tony Award-winning stage musical by Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit.


Daniel Day-Lewis stars as the contemplative Guido Contini who struggles to regain his footing as a film director (and in his life) after a number of flops — all the while dealing with the women in his life: his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his muse (Nicole Kidman), his costume designer/confidant (Judi Dench) and more (Sophia Loren, Stacey Ferguson, Kate Hudson).
