News Nita Whitaker Will Perform in Charles Randolph-Wright's "Three Voices" Concert Series Singer and actress Nita Whitaker will perform a one-night-only concert at Stage 72 Oct. 28 at 7 PM.

Motown The Musical director Charles Randolph-Wright's "Three Voices" concert series will feature Whitaker performing a mix of popular music and original compositions. Eugene Gwozdz will provide music direction. 

The series, which began with Dodie Pettit, will also feature Christine Toy Johnson Nov. 11 at 7 PM.

Whitaker's stage credits include Ragtime, Me and Mrs. Jones and The Ten Commandments: The Musical. Her TV and film work has included "The Bodyguard," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "The Winner Is." She executive-produced Rent Unplugged in Los Angeles in June 2013.

Whitaker sang the original demos for Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing," "I Look To You" and "I Will Always Love You" and Josh Groban's "You're Still You." She has toured with Andrea Bocelli as a guest duet artist as well as a featured vocalist with jazz trumpeter Chris Botti.
