News Nixon, O'Keefe and Chin to Read Didion and More for "Selected Shorts" Tony Award-winning actress Cynthia Nixon and Academy Award nominee Michael O'Keefe will be a part of "Selected Shorts" Feb. 24 at Symphony Space.

Isaiah Sheffer hosts the 7 PM event dedicated to "The Sixties," which will feature works by James Baldwin, Joyce Johnson, Norman Mailer, Robert Lowell, Sonia Sanchez, and an excerpt from Joan Didion's classic essay "The White Album." In addition to Nixon (Rabbit Hole, Distracted, "Sex and the City") and O'Keefe (Side Man, Mass Appeal, "Brothers and Sisters"), the evening will feature Def Jam Poetry artist Staceyann Chin.

"Selected Shorts" is the award-winning, one-hour radio program from NPR, which features readings of classic and new short fiction by notable actors from stage and screen. "Selected Shorts" is produced by Symphony Space in New York City.
