The McCarter Theater of Princeton, NJ, will be Not Suitable for Children Jan. 13-20, thanks to playwright Doug Wright. Wright has penned a slightly grisly trio of one-acts, which will be performed on the McCarter's main stage, transformed into a 120-seat theatre for the occasion.

First up is "Lot 13: The Bone Violin," about a musical prodigy who pushes his talent just a little too far. "Baby Talk," the next play, is about a pregnancy gone wrong. Finally, in "Wildwood Park," a buyer looking at a new house becomes consumed by the crime which once took place on the premises.

Wright will direct a cast made up of edgy, Off-Off-Broadway talents, including Joanna P. Adler (Benita Canova), Tom Nelis (various Anne Bogart and Laurie Anderson projects) and Jefferson Mays (Wright's own Quills). Also in the cast are Olivia Birkelund (CSC's The Misanthrope) and Jonathan Walker (MCC's Angelique).
