Artistic director Jonathan Fox helms the production, which stars Broadway vets Marilyn Rockafellow (Open Admissions) and Gil Rogers as a complacent suburban couple whose lives are changed when their best friends, played by Darcy Pulliam and Geddeth Smith, arrive unexpectedly at their home stricken with terror. Lisa McMillan and Shelley Delaney round out the cast.

Originally produced in the mid-60s, A Delicate Balance was revived on Broadway by Lincoln Center in 1996. George Grizzard took home a Tony Award for best actor for the production, which was also honored for best revival and direction of a play.

Performances are at the Algonquin Arts Theatre, 171 Main St., Manasquan, NJ. Tickets are $19 to $35. For more information, call 732-345-1400 or visit www.tworivertheatre.org.
