New York's Emelin Theatre in Mamaronek has had to cancel Elizabeth Fuller's Me and Jezebel, scheduled to run Aug. 11-29, because of scheduling conflicts with star Karen Valentine.

Valentine won an Emmy Award on "Room 222" and starred in her own series, "Karen." Other TV appearances include stints on "The Twilight Zone," "Murder, She Wrote," "The Love Boat" and "Cybill." Her New York theatre credits include Breaking Legs, Romantic Comedy, On the Beach and The Raunchy Dame in the Chinese Raincoat.

Moore, a singer and composer of children's musicals, appeared on Broadway in Life With Father with Sandy Duncan and toured extensively with the Prince Street Players.

Jezebel is the true story of what happened to Fuller in 1985 when a hotel strike forced screen legend Bette Davis to show up at her Connecticut home for an overnight stay that turned into a month-long visit. Other works by Fuller include Everyone is Psychic, Having Your First Baby After 30, Poor Elizabeth's Almanac and When You See the Emu in the Sky.
