News Noah Racey Gets His "Amy" for Goodspeed's Where's Charley? Nili Bassman will play Amy in the new staging of Frank Loesser and George Abbott's Where's Charley? this summer at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT.

Bassman made her Broadway debut in fall 2003 in Never Gonna Dance and was last seen at Goodspeed in Brigadoon. As previously announced, Never Gonna Dance star Noah Racey plays the title role, which allows him to sing "Once in Love With Amy."

The principal cast for the July 9-Sept. 25 run includes Paul Carlin (as Sir Francis Chesney), Kristin Huxhold (as Kitty Verdun), Mary Illes (as Dona Lucia D'Alvadorez), Greg Mills (as Jack Chesney) and Ron Lee Savin (as Mr. Spettigue). Additional casting will be announced.

As previously reported, Tony Walton will direct and co design the revival, which will include some libretto alterations and song interpolations. A half-dozen Loesser numbers written around the time the show was written (circa 1948) will be heard.

The musical comedy is based on the British farce, Charley's Aunt, and includes the songs "Make a Miracle" and "My Darling, My Darling."
