News Noll, Rodriguez, Taylor and James to Offer Free Concert of Lippa, Loesel, Vavrek and Lees Tunes Tony Award nominee Christiane Noll, Krysta Rodriguez, Wesley Taylor and Zachary James will sing the work of new composers May 17 for the Metropolis Opera Project's The M.O.P. Bucket.

The free 8 PM concert at Stitch Bar will feature new work by Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family, The Wild Party), Larry Lees (Sixteen Days), Bryan Putnam (The ToyMaker), Benjamin Scheuer (Jihad! The Musical), Will Van Dyke (SlightlyAskew), Royce Vavrek (The Coterie), Randall Eng, Ryan Gagnon, Kristin Hevner, Peter Kirn, Paul Loesel, Rachel Peters, S.J. Pettersson and Christopher Sahar.

In addition to Noll (Ragtime) and Addams Family stars Rodriguez, Taylor and James, the evening will feature Martin Sola (Coram Boy), Morgan James (The Addams Family), Amy Justman (Company), Megan Nelson, Jessica Kimple and Lauren Worsham (Candide for NYCO).

James, who appears as Lurch in the Broadway musical The Addams Family, is a co-founder of M.O.P., which aims to produce new commissions, and rarely produced works that fall outside the general opera canon.
