The Normal Heart, Larry Kramer's award-winning play about the early days of the AIDS epidemic, is currently being revived at the Man in the Moon theatre in London. The director is Richard Bridge.
The play, which originally ran Off-Broadway at the New York Shakespeare Festival (where it opened April 21, 1985 and closed Jan. 5, 1986), takes place from 1981-84 and concerns a NY writer who fights to get the city's powerful elite to respond to the growing AIDS crises.
