Cameron Mackintosh's reconceived production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s musical phenomenon Les Misérables will resume its North American tour this October. The production was previously shuttered by the pandemic in March 2020.

The tour will play more than 60 week-long and multi-week engagements through the next two years and beyond. The first engagement will be at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. A complete tour schedule and cast will be announced at a later date. Further information can be found at LesMiz.com

“The last two years have been incredibly difficult for everyone, but especially for those of us who work in theatre," says Mackintosh. "We have been forced to stop everywhere—our art has been locked up. At last, the world is coming to grips with how to live safely with the pandemic. It’s time to let the people sing again and no show in the world has ever demonstrated the survival of the human spirit better than Les Miz. We are all thrilled to be bringing her home again to you.”

“Being the first city to put this blockbuster musical back on the road is a testament to the passion, dedication, and size of our Broadway audiences in Cleveland,” adds Playhouse Square President and CEO Gina Vernaci. “We are thrilled to be working once again with Cameron Mackintosh and his brilliant team.”
