Nosotras Que Nos Queremos Tanto (We, Who Love Each Other So Much), the Brazilian hit comedy by Miguel Falabella will premiere in Mexico City Apr. 15 at the Teatro Tepeyac.
Starring in Nosotras are Maria Sorte (Amadeus), Luz Maria Aguilar (James Kirkwood's Legends), Monserrat Ontiveros and Ana Bertha Espin. Lia Jelin, who directed the play in Argentina is directing this production, which features a set designed by Laura Rode (Moon Over Buffalo, Master Class).
In Nosotras, four sisters reunite after the death of their mother to divide the inheritance. Among the topics they discuss in this hilarious meeting are plastic surgery, psychoanalysis, marriage and men. Sorte plays a woman with esoteric interests, Aguilar is a glamorous woman who lives in Paris, Ontiveros an intellectual sociologist; and Espin a common housewife who lives in a poor neighborhood.
