The Daily Mail reports that there is chatter about a Broadway transfer next spring, pending scheduling availability of the play's stars. The London engagement is produced by Scott Rudin.

In the meantime, NTLive will broadcast the performance Oct. 23. It will first be screened in U.K. cinemas July 17.

Stephen Daldry directs the revival that began performances June 6 at Wyndham's Theatre. It marks Mulligan's West End stage premiere.

In the play, set on a bitterly cold London evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis (Mulligan) receives unexpected visits from her former lover, Tom Sergeant (Nighy), a successful and charismatic restaurateur whose wife has recently died, as well as Tom's son Edward (Beard). As the evening progresses, Kyra and Tom attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.

Designs are by Bob Crowley with lighting by Natasha Katz, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby.
