Like U.S. postal workers, Broadway apparently takes no heed of snow, sleet and ice. The League of American Theatres and Producers has put out a notice reporting that -- despite winter storms which have incapacitated much of the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut -- all 26 shows currently playing on Broadway will open tonight as scheduled. The snow is predicted to continue through the evening, turning to ice as the temperature drops. The morning should bring rain or an ice storm.
