NYMF's signature series is "The Next Link" initiative, a collection of shows seen in full Equity showcase productions that were allowed into fest by a juried selection process.
Additionally, there is a series of "Invited" productions that are also full showcase stagings that were invited to participate in the festival.
Other special events, such as readings of shows, and seminars and discussions, are part of the festival. Executive director is Kris Stewart, director of programming is Isaac Robert Hurwitz.
The pass levels include:
NYMF BRONZE PASS $60: one ticket to four productions chosen from the Next Link Project Selections, Invited Productions (excluding The Big Time), Musical/Comedy Series at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Special Events. Plus one reserved seat to one event chosen from Readings, Presentations, Seminars, and Discussions. NYMF GOLD PASS $100: one ticket to six productions or two tickets to three productions chosen from the Next Link Project Selections, Invited Productions (excluding The Big Time), Musical/Comedy Series at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Special Events. Plus one reserved seat to two events chosen from Readings, Presentations, Seminars, and Discussions.PLATINUM PASS $600: one ticket to unlimited productions chosen from the Next Link Project Selections, Invited Productions (excluding The Big Time), Musical/Comedy Series at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Special Events and the NYMF Concert Series. Plus one reserved seat to unlimited events chosen from Readings, Presentations, Seminars and Discussions. All tickets for NYMF Bronze and Gold Passes must be reserved at the time of purchase. All tickets for NYMF Platinum Passes can be reserved from time of purchase until Sept. 23.
