News NYC Bloomingdale's Currently Presenting Tony Award Costume Retrospective The Tony Awards, in partnership with Bloomingdale’s, is currently presenting a Tony Award Costume Exhibit at Bloomingdale’s in New York City.

The Costume Exhibit, which continues through June 18, includes costumes from Tony Award-winning shows through the years. The exhibit is on display on the 4th floor of Bloomingdale’s 59th Street location.  Bloomingdale’s has also dedicated its Third Avenue store window, which illuminates at night, to the Tony Awards celebration. The Tony Award Costume Exhibit showcases costumes from Tony Award-winning musicals, plays and designs, including The Phantom of the Opera, AIDA, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Coast of Utopia, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Producers, Crazy for You and Sister Act. The collection also includes Tony memorabilia, including Tony tickets, Playbills, an actual Tony Award and more. 

“The Tony Award Fashion Exhibit is a true reflection of the artistry which takes center stage each and every night on Broadway,” said Heather Hitchens, executive director of the American Theatre Wing, in a statement.  “Bloomingdale’s has created an exquisite exhibit which highlights the fine details and master craftsmanship of the finest costume designers,” added Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League.

The 66th Annual Tony Awards will be presented June 10 at the Beacon Theatre. Neil Patrick Harris will once again host.
