News NYMF Hub, Featuring Box Office, Lounge, Free Public Events, Will Open June 18 Single tickets for the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will go on sale to the general public June 18.

It was also announced that a centralized NYMF Hub, located at 330 W. 42nd Street, will also open June 18 from 10 AM-6 PM and will feature live performances throughout the day from upcoming Festival shows. There is a box office located in the Hub, and advance tickets can be booked in person with no service charge.

The Hub will host an array of free public events, including concerts, panel discussions and talkbacks with festival artists, and will feature a gallery of Festival shows.

The Hub, which will include a bar and lounge, will be open noon-8 PM every day through July 29. It will serve as a social center for those associated with NYMF as well as audience members.

“We are thrilled that the NYMF Hub will make the Festival even more accessible to audiences and provide a physical space for the community to come together,” said NYMF executive director and producer Isaac Robert Hurwitz in a statement. “With a lounge, stage, and free events, there will always be something going on, and we are excited to bring NYMF to the next level with more programming and events.” Since its inception in 2004, The New York Musical Theatre Festival has premiered more than 300 new musicals.

This year's Festival runs July 9-29. Memberships are on sale now; single tickets will go on sale June 15. To purchase a membership visit www.nymf.org/member.
