The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) report three weekend street closures which may cause areas of congestion for March 11-12 in the theatre district.
On either Saturday, March 11, or Sunday, March 12, delays can be expected in the following areas:
From 8 AM-6 PM, on West 41st Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue, the street will be closed during crane operations. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
Also between 8 AM-6 PM, West 42nd Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue will have just one lane open in each direction during crane operations.
Finally, on West 50th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue between the hours of 5 AM-6 PM, the street will be closed during crane operations. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times. Theatre patrons may wish to avoid these areas and avoid subsequent delays.
