Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theatre, home of such recent shows as Once in a Lifetime, Mojo and The Beauty Queen of Leenane, will open its 1998-99 season with Hilary Bell's Wolf Lullaby, a drama about a little girl murdered in the Australian outback. When the prime suspect turns out to be a nine-year-old, her parents have to wonder about the child they've raised. According to a production spokesperson, Wolf Lullaby premiered in Australia in 1996 and had its American premiere at Chicago, IL's Steppenwolf Theatre in May.
Atlantic artistic director Neil directs the play, which starts previews Oct. 15 and opens Oct. 29. For tickets and information on Wolf Lullaby at the Atlantic Theatre, call (212) 242-1242.
