Downtown diva, Judy Elkan premieres the latest version of her ongoing Playstation series, Playstation, Levels 1-4, July 20, at Excellent Art Manufacturing, the new Off-Off-Broadway performance space. Created and directed by Elkan, Playstation is a glimpse into the world of three New York "hotties," investigating notions of sexual innocence and the games of power and seduction people play.
Previous versions of Elkan's Playstation have been performed at The Ontological, Luna Lounge and for last year's Downtown Arts Festival.
Along with Elkan, Playstation features fellow downtowners Jennifer Krasinki (Foreman's Permanent Brain Damage), Bat Theatre's Porcupine Man and Others) and Susan Tierney (Benita Canova), along with sets by Paul Clay (set designer for Rent).
Judy Elkan's Playstation Levels 1-4 began performances July 13 and continues through Aug. 27 at Excellent Art Manufacturing, a new performance space in NY's Greenwich Village. For reservations and more information call (212) 414-5167.
