Fully titled Dreaming in Cuban: Rhythm, Rum, Cafe Con Leche and Nuestros Abuelos, Dreaming combines two theater pieces. The first, Dreaming in Cuban, was adapted by Handman from Cristina Garcia's novel of the same name and will be performed solo by Eileen Galindo. The second, Agua Ardiente, celebrates the Cuban and Colombian grandparents of writer-performer Michael John Garces.

Amenities including rum drinks, cafe con leche, and classic cubano food served in a Cuban cafe decor created by visual artist Manuel Vega. Cuban dance master Felix DeJesus leads cha-chas and mambos for the audience.

Tickets are $25. For reservations, call Tele-charge at (212) 239-6200. The American Place Theatre is located at 111 West 46th Street.
