News Off-Broadway Comedy I Love You, You're Perfect Hits 3000, Oct. 21 I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, the current longest-running musical still on the Off-Broadway boards, celebrates its 3,000th performance Oct. 21 at the Westside Theatre.

Jordan Leeds, Janet Metz, Sandy Rustin and Colin Stokes are the current stars in the show featuring book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. The musical comedy that delves into the world of dating, love and marriage is also the longest-running musical revue in New York history, having broken the record set by Smokey Joe's Cafe. The show's creators opened their second Off-Broadway offering, The Thing About Men, at Off-Broadway's Promenade Theatre, starting Aug. 6. Marc Kudisch, Ron Bohmer, Leah Hocking, Daniel Reichard and Jennifer Simard star. DiPietro is also working on a musical Can't Help Falling in Love featuring the music of Elvis Presley.

I Love You, You're Perfect has enjoyed success throughout the world, having opened it 150 different cities including Los Angeles, Boston, Toronto, London, Tel Aviv and Barcelona. Joel Bishoff directed the New York staging.
