News Off-Broadway Experiences Its First Time July 12 My First Time begins its open-ended run at Off-Broadway's New World Stages July 12; opening night is scheduled for July 28.

Ken Davenport (Altar Boyz, Awesome 80's Prom) produces My First Time, a new play in the style of The Vagina Monologues, featuring stories and anecdotes about people's first sexual experiences.

"In 1998," press notes read, "a decade before blogging began, a website was created that allowed people to anonymously share their own true stories about their First Times. The website became an instant phenomenon as over 40,000 stories poured in from around the globe that were silly, sweet, absurd, funny, heterosexual, homosexual, awkward, shy, sexy and everything in between. And now, these true stories and all of the unique characters in them are brought to life by four amazing actors in the acclaimed 90 minute play, My First Time."

Davenport also directs; the cast includes Bill Dawes, Josh Heine, Kathy Searle and Cydnee Welburn. Matthew A. Smith designed the production.

My First Time features original music written specifically for, or relating to, first sexual experiences. Davenport is in negotiations to produce an album of the material with Kurt Deutsch of Sh-K-boom Records.

In addition, a limited number of virgins could get lucky on opening night and win free tickets to My First Time. Hypnotherapist Sebastian Black will be on hand to interview the potential candidates and determine their eligibility. The open-ended run plays New World Stages, located at 340 West 50th Street. Tickets, priced $25, are available by calling (212) 239-6200. For more information visit www.MyFirstTimeThePlay.com.
