Miss You Like Hell will follow up its 2018 Off-Broadway premiere at the Public Theater with productions at Cambridge, Massachusetts' American Repertory Theater and Indianapolis' Fonseca Theatre in 2019. The former is scheduled for January 11–27 with the Indiana production following March 8–31. Casting for these productions has not yet been announced.
With a book and lyrics by Quiara Alegría Hudes (In the Heights) and music by Erin McKeown, Miss You Like Hell tells the story of Beatriz, an undocumented immigrant facing deportation who embarks on a multi-state road trip with her 16-year-old daughter Olivia.
