Joe Penhall's Blue/Orange, the current offering at Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theater Company, has extended its run to Jan. 12, 2003. The show got underway on Nov. 6 and opened on Nov. 24. It was to have closed on Dec. 29.

Harold Perrineau, Jr., Zeljko Ivanek and Glenn Fitzgerald star in the production. Neil Pepe directs.

Perrineau plays a troubled young man being cared for, and argued over, by a novice doctor (Fitzgerald) and a supervising psychiatrist (Ivanek) for 24 hours at a modern hospital in London. The UK production of Blue/Orange won an Olivier Award and Evening Standard Award. Penhall's other works include Some Voices and Pale Horse, though none have received the acclaim of B/O.

Fitzgerald won attention for his central role in Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero. Ivanek, a stage veteran, has appeared in such Broadway productions as Loot, Two Shakespearean Actors and The Glass Menagerie, opposite Julie Harris. Perrineau, Jr. is best known for his role of Augustus Hill in HBO's prison drama "Oz."

The design team includes Robert Brill (sets), Brian MacDevitt (lighting), Laura Bauer (costumes) and Scott Myers (sound). Tickets are $45. The Atlantic Theater Company is located at 336 West 20th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues). Call Tele-Charge at (212) 239-6200.
