"Have tickets to a cancelled Off-Broadway show Thursday night?" a press statement asks. "Come see Closer Than Ever for free at the York. Just show your unused tickets or confirmation orders at the box office between 12 and 6 and we'll get you in for free while tickets last... Spread the word!"

With direction by Maltby, associate direction and choreography by Kurt Stamm and music direction by Andrew Gerle, the cast features George Dvorsky, Anika Larsen, Marya Grandy and Sal Viviano.

The production at The York Theatre at Saint Peter’s is described as "an intimate revue about love, friendship, security, happiness – and holding onto those essentials in a world that pulls us in a hundred directions at once."

The creative team includes James Morgan (set), Nicole Wee (costumes) and Kirk Bookman (lights).  The production stage manager is Bernita Robinson.

Performances continue through Nov. 4.
