Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that its production of Napoli, Brooklyn will now close August 27—a week earlier than the previously scheduled September 3 closing date. Meghan Kennedy’s story of an Italian-American family in a rapidly-changing Park Slope during the 1960s, officially opened Off-Broadway June 27.

Directed by Gordon Edelstein, the new play began performances June 9.

Jordyn DiNatale, Lilli Kay, and Elise Kibler star as the three Muscolino sisters at the heart of the play, who increasingly find themselves at odds with their parents’ traditional values.

Rounding out the cast are Shirine Babb as Celia Jones, Alyssa Bresnahan as Luda, Juliet Brett as Connie Duffy, Erik Lochtefeld as Albert Duffy, and Michael Rispoli as Nic Muscolino.
