Ibsen's sensational 1881 play centers on Mrs. Alving, who in order to shield her son from inheriting anything from his late philandering father, builds an orphanage with the inheritance. However, her husband has left behind numerous secrets which haunt the family.
The Pearl's design team for Ghosts includes Harry Feiner (set design), Sam Fleming (costume design), Stephen Petrilli (lighting design), and Mark Huang (sound design). Lisa Ledwich is stage manager; Kate Farrington is dramaturg.
