Off-Broadway News Off-Broadway’s Superhero Musical Extends at Second Stage Theater Kate Baldwin and Bryce Pinkham star in the world premiere from Tom Kitt and John Logan.

The new musical Superhero has extended its current world-premiere engagement, which officially opens February 28 at Second Stage’s Tony Kiser Theater. Performances will now run through March 31 (instead of the previously announced March 24).

Tony nominees Kate Baldwin and Bryce Pinkham star in the new musical, featuring a book by Tony winner John Logan and a score by Tony and Pulitzer winner Tom Kitt. The show tells the story of a fractured family, a mysterious neighbor, and an unexpected hero.

The cast also features Kyle McArthur as Simon, Julia Abueva as Rachel, Jake Levy as Dwayne, Salena Qureshi as Vee, Thom Sesma as Vic, and Nathaniel Stampley as Dean Fulton. Jason Moore directs.
