Last chance to catch The Last Street Play -- a drama by Richard Wesley at NY's Tribeca performing Arts Center. This production of Woodie King Jr.'s New Federal Theatre began previews April 9, opened April 13 and runs to May 11.

The production features New Federal veteran Arthur French, who appeared on Broadway in Mule Bone, Ain't Supposed To Die A Natural Death and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Also starring is Ella Joyce of TV's "Roc" and Broadway's Two Trains Running. Other performers include Chad Coleman, Ramon Moses, Ken Green, Gordon Skinner and Brian Spivey.

The Last Street Play, directed by Thomas Bullard, concerns a group of urban men "trying to reclaim their youth and relive their exploits." Wesley's other plays include The Black Terror and Gettin' It Together, as well as the book for the Goodspeed Opera House musical, The Dream Team.

Designing the play are Rob Odorisio (set), Shirley Prendergast (lighting), Edmound Felix (costumes) and Tim Schellenbaum (sound).
