News Off-Bway's Abingdon Stages NYC Premiere of Irish-Set The Pagans Starting Feb. 27 Abingdon Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of Ann Noble's The Pagans, winner of Chicago's Jeff Award for Best New Play, starting Feb. 27 at the June Havoc Theatre Off-Broadway.

The setting of the play is County Clare, Ireland. "The Riordan family's elder son returns home with his sexy American wife and throws the household into turmoil. Ann Noble's The Pagans tackles faith, loyalty and trust with an intoxicating sense of humor, introducing us to eight colorful, headstrong personalities."

Stephen Hollis directs a cast that includes Victoria Adams, Mark Alhadeff, Frank Anderson, Nora Chester, Christopher Drescher, Rachel Fowler, Susanne Marley and Steven Rishard.

Opening is March 3 at the Havoc, the mainstage within the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 W. 36th Street, First Floor.

Designers are James F. Wolk (set), Wade Laboissonniere (costumes), David Castaneda (lighting).
