Well, it was a nice idea, but the Festival was suddenly cancelled just before it was set to start, June 4. A contact number for production spokesperson Dennis Smith was no longer in service, and a call to the box office brought an answering message that gave no explanation for the cancellation but did say the company would try to bring the Festival back in the future.

Fifteen one-acts were to have comprised the Fest, including New York premieres by Edwin Sanchez and Linda Eisenstein. Performances were scheduled for two programs at the Altered Stages space on West 29th St., June 4-July 2. All are now cancelled.
