The official website of the musical El Hombre de La Mancha has been released today, May 13, under the following address:

This website is one of the first dedicated exclusively to a musical created in Spain . Currently the website is only available in Spanish, even though there is a possibility of the creation of an English version when this musical performs in the United States (late 1999).

The Man of la Mancha site gathers biographies of all actors in the cast, lead by Jose Sacristan as Quijote/Cervantes and Paloma San Basilio as Dulcinea/Aldonza. We also find biographies of the producers, directors, and all the technical and artistic staff.

This Website offers the possibility of listening to musical fragments in Real Audio format of all songs from the musical's newly-released album. It also includes photos from all scenes of the musical, the actors and the artistic staff, as well as the very first forum about musicals for Spanish speakers. It has been created by Carlos Lorenzo (PBOL Spain Correspondent), with the collaboration of Pigmalion Productions, the musical's producers. A large number of visits to this website are anticipated since this musical has broken all earnings records in Spain, gathering more than 1 billion Spanish Pesetas in five months.
