News Oh, My God! It’s The Petersons! and Tony Danza Will Romp at 54 Below Tonight 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street) will present The Petersons – the five piece contemporary music ensemble comprised of five accomplished actors, writers, and comedians – in Oh, My God! It’s The Petersons!, tonight, Sept. 27 at 9:30 PM.

The Petersons play original rock tunes and present a continuing serial comedy about a misfit band from upstate New York who still want to make it big.

According to press notes, "Having performed more than 40 of these episodes around New York City at Joe’s Pub, Caroline’s on Broadway, The Bottom Line and many other venues, the band returns to the scene with their first performance in several years. But don’t call it a comeback!"

The Petersons are: Adam Stein (Mr. Peterson) who currently serves as a writer/producer on the CBS drama “Under The Dome,” Keira Naughton (Mrs. Peterson) best known for her work on Broadway and for her performances at the Atlantic, Primary Stages, The Kennedy Center, Signature and many others, Matthew Saldivar (Julio) who appeared as Black Stache in the Broadway run of Peter and the Starcatcher and will be featured in the upcoming Honeymoon in Vegas on Broadway this fall, Evan Robertson (Father Tom) whose work in the theater garnered him the Joe A. Callaway Award for his performance in Much Ado About Nothing, Pete (Pete Petersen) Simpson who will appear in Young Jean Lee’s Straight White Men at The Public Theater this fall and (Ricky) Rick Holmes, who played Lord Astor in Peter and the Starcatcher on Broadway and has also appeared in many other principal roles on Broadway including in Spamalot.

Each The Petersons show also includes a special guest, to be announced; Past guests have included Michael C. Hall, Paul Newman, Mila Kunis, Michael Emerson, James Naughton, Gavin Degraw, John Cameron Mitchell and others.

For their show at 54 Below, The Petersons will feature a guest performance by Tony Danza who will star in Honeymoon in Vegas which begins performances on Broadway Nov. 18. There is a $35-50 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum.
