David Mamet's Oleanna ends its Los Angeles revival at the 3rd Street Theatre Nov. 25. Beginning performances Oct. 19, the drama features Ariel Zevon and Miguel Perez with Lincoln Center Directors' Lab alum, Ernest A. Figueroa, directing.

Mamet's morality tale was first produced in Cambridge, MA, in 1992. Some critics have called it an anti-feminist tract, but Figueroa says his production will challenge audiences to take another look at how interpretation and meaning change with the culture and times.

Figueroa has served as associate artistic director of the Sacramento Theatre Company and recently produced the inaugural L.A. session of Lincoln Center Directors' Lab-West.

Zevon has appeared with the Williamstown Theatre Festival and is a member of Company Theatre and co-founder of the all-female company Toxic Shock Stage. Perez performed in The Tempest on Broadway.

Other Mamet plays include American Buffalo, Glengarry Glen Ross and The Cryptogram. 3rd Street Theatre is located at 8140 West 3rd St. For tickets and information call (323) 957-4312.
