The Goodspeed Musicals production of Oklahoma! begins performances July 14 in East Haddam, CT. Jenn Thompson directs the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that has choreography by Katie Spelman.

The cast features Rhett Guter (Curly), Samantha Bruce (Laurey), Terry Burrell (Aunt Eller), Jake Swain (Will Parker), Gizel Jimenez (Ado Annie), C. Mingo Long (Andrew Carnes), Matthew Curiano (Ali Hakim), and Matt Faucher (Jud Fry) with Kelly Berman, Morgan Cowling, Lauren Csete, Mark Deler, Tamrin Goldberg, Tripp Hampton, Olivia Nicole Hoffman, Kate Arrington Johnson (Gertie), Howard Kaye (Ike), Morgan McCann (Cord), Andrew Ryan Purcell, Alex Ringler, Marco Antonio Santiago, Alex Stewart, and Madison Turner as well as swings Rebecca Brudner and Aaron Patrick Craven.

Oklahoma! features music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and is based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs by Lynn Riggs. The original dances were created by Agnes de Mille.

The score includes such standards as “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “The Surrey With the Fringe on Top,” and the title tune.

The creative team also includes scenic designer Wilson Chin, costume designer Tracy Christensen, lighting designer Philip Rosenberg, sound designer Jay Hilton, wig and hair designer Mark Adam Rampmeyer, orchestrator Dan DeLange, and music director Michael O’Flaherty. Casting is by Paul Hardt of StewartWhitley Casting.
